Story Behind Minimalist Products
Minimalism tends to be a very ambiguous concept. For some, it shows as means to declutter their possessions or mind, some as ways to save money, and others as a design language for products that carry minimalist traits through their form, function and aesthetics.
What if all those schools of thought could live in peace with each other? That is the premise behind Minimalist Products.
Ilpo Vilén is the founder of Minimalist Products. He holds an MSc in Marketing and a BBA in International Business. He’s on a quest to simplify his life and has a keen eye and passion for good minimalist design and sustainability. Ilpo lives a car-free lifestyle, using his trusted bicycle all year round in Oulu, the winter cycling capital of the world (see the map below).
