One Watch, Many Styles

A typical ”dumb” watch carries a very fixed style. You get the one watch face that stays the same throughout the lifetime of the timepiece. And if you want to change the wrist strap the watch was originally equipped with, many times special tools or visit to your local clock smith are needed.

Neither of these problems exist with the Apple Watch. If you want, you can have a different watch face for every day of the week, thanks to its digital display and customization options. You even have a possibility to design your own faces if you deem you possess the artistic capabilities for that task. Concerning the strap change, that takes only a few seconds and the tools you need for this operation are always with you. Your hands, that is. For example, you can convert from a casual Sport Band you may wear at home to a more formal, Stainless Steel Milanese Loop to better blend in at your workplace.

Easier Navigation

You are cycling in a foreign city, looking at your phone in one hand and trying to balance your bike with the other. Doesn’t sound the most risk-free way of navigation to me. With the Apple Watch, these occasions are a thing of the past. Having the personal navigator strapped to your wrist, you have both hands available for handling your vehicle. Also, there is no need to constantly look at the watch, as both aural and haptic feedback are there to guide you.

Fitness Tracking

So, you care about your fitness and want to track your development? That is great! But the next time you go for a run, you are facing the same hassle as always. Strap your uncomfortable heart rate monitor around your chest, connect it to your phone, open your sports tracking app, tuck your phone where ever is the least inconvenient and hope that it does not get ruined by your sweat.

Again, Apple Watch comes to your rescue. Forget the separate heart rate monitor, and the hassle of carrying a heavy phone with you. Just add the water resistant Apple Watch, wireless headphones (AirPods Pro are our recommendation due to their Transparency mode that helps to hear the vital noises around you even when listening to music), clothes and shoes and you are ready to go.

And do not forget that even when not exercising, your watch keeps track of your health. There have even been cases when Apple Watch has saved lives, i.a. by recognizing irregular heart rate patterns or making an emergency call when the wearer’s hands have been stuck to initiate it but voice has been available to use to command the watch.

Wallet Replacement

You hate carrying those flimsy pieces of plastic cards and even the ancient relics known as bills and coins? Once again, the Apple Watch can abolish this problem. Not only does this mean that you have fewer things to carry, it also makes the payment process effortless with no need to type numbers on the payment terminals or to get the phone from your pocket, and it can also increase the protection of your hard-earned money from thefts.

Feature Comparison Table

Three Models

Apple currently offers three versions of the Watch; SE, Series 10 and Ultra 2. Main differentiators of the Series 10 from the less-capable SE are blood oxygen meter, always-on display, thermometer for menstrual cycles and ECG functionality. Both watches offer two sizes (40mm and 44mm for SE & 42mm and 46mm for Series 9), and an option to have the watch with or without a standalone cellular (LTE) function.

Ultra 2 on the other hand offers more durability, brighter screen and longer lasting battery but doesn´t look as subtle as the more affordable options and may not be as feasible as an all-around watch that you would want to use in both a running trail and in more formal occasions. It comes in one size only and only as a cellular version.
